At the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. They welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing their passion for our vibrant region and providing essential information that enhances every guest's experience. As proud ambassadors of Greater Shepparton, our volunteers dive deep into the local attractions, activities, and events, ensuring that every visitor leaves with unforgettable memories.
We’re looking for dedicated individuals who can commit to at least four hours a week (or every two weeks for weekend shifts) for a minimum of six months.

We welcome new volunteers biannually, in February and July, with group training sessions to ensure you feel confident and knowledgeable in your role. A comprehensive 12-week training program is mandatory for all permanent volunteers.
We believe in the power of diversity and encourage individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to apply, including those re-entering the workforce or seeking valuable experience in tourism. Short-term volunteer opportunities (6–12 months) are also available.
As a volunteer, you're part of the story. You'll share local secrets, helping visitors uncover the best of Shepparton and create lasting memories. You'll be the first to know about the region's vibrant events and exciting attractions, and you'll have regular opportunities to explore the area and network with fellow volunteers and tourism operators.
And to sweeten the deal, successful applicants can look forward to gaining a Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification on us! Plus, we'll cover the cost of a Police check, ensuring you're all set to join our dynamic team.
