Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre

Join us as a Volunteer

Applications for volunteers are accepted throughout the whole year.  Visitor Centre Volunteer PictureAt the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our community, welcoming guests with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing their passion for our vibrant region and providing essential information to enhance the visitor's experience.  As proud ambassadors of Greater Shepparton, our volunteers learn to sell our merchandise, offer advice to visitors on our attractions, activities, and events, ensuring that every visitor leaves wanting to return.

Here’s what we value in our volunteers:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor
  • A polished and well-groomed appearance
  • Familiarity with the Greater Shepparton area, or a genuine eagerness to learn
  • A strong sense of pride and passion for our local community

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.   For more information, please reach out to the Visitor Centre at (03) 5832 9331 or email Claire Di Stefano at info@sheppandgv.com.au.

We believe in the power of diversity and encourage individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to apply, including those re-entering the workforce or seeking valuable experience in tourism.

As a volunteer, you'll have regular opportunities to explore the area and network with fellow volunteers on familiarization tours.

Successful applicants can look forward to gaining a Responsible Service of  Alcohol qualification on us  and we cover the cost of a police check and a uniform is provided on completion of the induction process.

We will be interviewing for volunteers once again in early 2026 so don't miss out as we only offer 2 inductions each year.

We look forward to meeting you.
