Union Bay Natural Area Restoration

The Union Bay Natural Area (UBNA) is an important urban natural area located at the Center for Urban Horticulture. Restoration volunteers work together to support the ecological health and ongoing restoration of this landscape.

Projects largely focus on invasive species removal and other hands-on restoration activities. Volunteers should be comfortable with manual work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Volunteers meet on Thursday mornings from 9:30a-12:30p and are asked to commit to at least three months. No previous restoration experience is required. A willingness to learn and work as part of a team is important.
