Volunteering with Parramatta Mission

Meals Plus Volunteers help prepare and serve Breakfast and Lunch each weekday for people in need. Volunteers may also be required to help with the cleaning up of breakfast and lunch service and general upkeep and cleanliness of Meals Plus.

Start shifts range between 7am - 9am, and the lunch service finishes at 1pm. Volunteers may be required to assist until, and shortly after this time. 

Desirable Skills: 

• Knowledge of relevant food safety standards desirable but not essential
• Outcome focused - understands work activities and follows procedures well
• Manages time effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly and Patient
