Hilton Head County Park - Park Cleanup and Beautification at Hilton Head County Park
Event Description:
This Green Friday, skip the sales and help us give back to the outdoors! San Diego County Parks invites you to take part in a meaningful and family-friendly park cleanup as part of our annual Green Friday celebration—the day after Thanksgiving dedicated to nature, not retail.
Cleanup Day Details:
Join Park Rangers and Department of Parks and Recreation staff for a hands-on cleanup effort to help beautify and protect your local park. You’ll assist with trash pickup, trail tidying, and light landscaping duties, contributing to a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming outdoor space for the entire community.

Volunteer Details:
- Open to all ages; families and groups are welcome!
- Volunteers assisting with loading/unloading or heavier tasks should be able to lift 30 lbs. or more.
- All cleanup tools and supplies will be provided.
What to Bring:
- Work gloves
- Hat & sunscreen
- Water bottle & snacks
- Long pants & sturdy, closed-toed shoes
