Pet Therapy/Visits
Pet Therapy/Visit: This is for volunteers who have a quiet and calm pet, that might be suitable for visits to our aged care facilities.
A Canine temperament/behavioural assessment is required by Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc to ensure that your dog is suitable to visit an aged care facility. This needs to be completed before you and your dog can be cleared to commence volunteering. The cost of this is $50 (paid directly to the Tara’s Dog Training) and will be conducted at our facility in Forrestfield.
