WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon Volunteer Opportunities

The WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon presented by Arbella Insurance is taking place August 13-14 at Fenway Park.

Volunteers are a critical part of the event's success! From answering phones to selling merchandise and collecting donations, this event would not be possible without the commitment of volunteers like you. Recruit family, friends, and colleagues to lend their time and talents during the Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon and support our mission to strike out cancer!

Volunteer roles include:

  • Merchandise Sales: Sell hats and t-shirts to fans during the Red Sox game with proceeds benefitting the Jimmy Fund. This is a stationary or standing indoor/outdoor role that involves communicating with fans.
  • Canister Collection (Collecting Donations): Encourage fans to make a donation in a Jimmy Fund canister throughout the park. This is a standing indoor/outdoor role that involves communicating with fans.
  • Phone Bank: Answer phones and record contributions from donors who call in during the broadcast. This is a stationary, indoor role that requires communicating with callers.

For any questions, please contact us at JimmyFundRadioTelethon@dfci.harvard.edu or 877-738-1234. We strive to ensure our volunteer opportunities are inclusive and enable all individuals to participate. A guide with accessibility information relating to the event can be found here. You may also include any accommodation requests when prompted in the registration form.
