Food with Friends
Help youth ages 11 to 18 in developing basic food prep skills and experience working in a commercial kitchen environment. Volunteers will assist Recreation Leaders in facilitating youth as they learn to follow recipes to prepare and enjoy a variety of nutritious meals.
Requirements:
- 18 to 25 years of age preferred
- Experience with preparing meals, kitchen safety, kitchen appliances
- Experience mentoring children or youth an asset
- Food Safe Level 1 an asset
- Fluent in spoken English
Seasons: Winter, Spring, Fall
