City of Port Coquitlam - Youth Services

Important Information Regarding COVID-19

Following guidelines from local, provincial and federal health authorities on health matters, the City of Port Coquitlam has announced new measures to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Effective immediately and until further notice, the City of Port Coquitlam is closing community facilities including the Port Coquitlam Community Centre, Hyde Creek Centre, Terry Fox Library, the Outlet and the Gathering Place. Services are also being limited at City Hall and other city facilities. You can read the Media Release on this matter here.

All volunteer shifts for opportunities running out of our community centres are cancelled until further notice. All new volunteer applications will be put on hold temporarily.  We look forward to connecting with you when our facilities reopen and our volunteering programs resume.  Please visit the City website for regular updates or visit www.portcoquitlam.ca/volunteer to learn why volunteering is so important to our community. If you have any questions, please contact us at volunteer@portcoquitlam.ca.

In the meantime, please continue to take care of our community.  Check in with your friends, family and neighbours regularly.  Assist people in your life who may be more vulnerable by seeing if you can pick up any groceries or items for them.  Simply checking in and maintaining a connection is important for everyone.  Take care and stay safe.
