Eco Management

The Sound of Music is an award-winning festival when it comes to Eco Management.

The Recycling Council of Ontario awarded Gold to the Sound of Music Festival for waste minimization.

In 2022, the festival was awarded Best Greening Festival.

Over 80% of waste was diverted from landfills last year and you can help make it happen again this year!

A variety of shifts are available for Set Up, Night Clean Up, Waste Collection / Litter Pickup, and Waste Sorting.

If you have not previously volunteered with us, please complete the application form. We ask all new volunteers to complete the Accessible Customer Service online training. This training will be emailed to you.  Once you have reviewed the information you can sign up for any Eco-Management shift you'd like!
