SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: Marketing Director
Summary/Objective
To help establish and promote Long Beach Area Veterans Collaborative to our partners and the public regarding our current activities, accomplishments and services.
Time Commitment
2 -5 hours per week.
Essential Functions
- Create and execute a social media plan
- Recommend and work with the most relevant platforms for Long Beach Area Veterans Collaborative
- Survey staff and other volunteers for input
- Work with videographer to produce videos as needed.

- Knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms
- Clear, confident communication abilities
- Ability to make decisions as to relevance of postings
- Effective time-management skills
Preferred qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Keen understanding of how to craft effective social media strategies
- Strong familiarity with computers, email clients, and project management software
- Experience with social media tools
