Read a book - Change a Life!

ABC preschool volunteers build a relationship with preschoolers by reading specially selected children’s books and leading classroom activities and discussions. The ABC preschool reader will build social, emotional and cognitive skills during the reading discussion and participation in the activities of the lessons. This program is available in both English and Spanish.

Times: September to May of the current school year, time commitment of two to three hours a month.

Requirements: Project Cornerstone volunteer application, school requirements, Take It Personally or Preschool Assets 101 training, school site or Project Cornerstone trainings to review the book and lesson plan for the upcoming month.
