Educational Programming
Educational programming volunteers support staff with registration, planning, activities, and crowd control for children's*, adult, and family programs. Opportunities include regularly scheduled activities, like Story Time and group hikes, to special events like Bug-A-Palooza and Pollinator Festival. Volunteers are also invited to propose new activities in their area of expertise (for instance, yoga or music teachers may want to host free classes in the gardens).
*A criminal background check is required for volunteers at children’s programs.
