Holiday Assistance Program - Special Program Volunteer

Occasionally The Salvation Army is invited to participate in special programs that require volunteers to assist Social Services clients, outreach promotion and collection of donations.  Special Programs can include Back to School shopping events or events in conjunction with Day Camp, Thanksgiving or Christmas.  Special Program volunteers would be individuals, 21 years or older, who have completed a background check and Safe From Harm training. 

Qualifications Required

  • Background Check
  • How much can you lift comfortably? Must be at least 20 lbs.
  • Safe From Harm Training Level Completed Must be at least Basic Mod 1-5
  • What age category do you belong? Must be at least 18 or older
