Event and Fundraising Support
As a non-profit organization, we rely on fundraising to help stretch our budget further and meet the many and varied needs of our clients. The Shelter for Help in Emergency holds two major fundraising events each year - a Spring Fundraiser (ex. golf tournament) and a 5K Run/Walk for Shelter, held annually on the first Saturday in November. We need your help planning and organizing these two events! We would also love to hear your ideas about organizing donation drives throughout the year. Help supplying the Shelter with much needed household products keeps our operating costs down and allows us to reserve more funding for programs and services.
If you have great networking, organizational, and marketing skills this would be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
