Dear %%1,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Jewish Care.
Jewish Care is the UK's largest health and social care charity providing services to the Jewish community. Thousands of clients and their families are supported each week via the provision of more than 40 services.
What happens next
- The Volunteers Team will review your application and contact you within a week of your application for an informal chat to learn more about you and answer any question you may have
- We will aim to match you to a volunteering opportunity closest to your preferences as possible.
- As we are sure you can appreciate all volunteers who support Jewish Care must be checked to show that they are suitable and therefore you will be asked to go through an application process which we help you with every step of the way. This will involve criminal record checks (DBS), adding further information into your volunteer profile including providing references. You will also receive training for your role which will be delivered remotely.
- We are keen that you can start volunteering as soon as possible, and we are doing everything we can to make sure your journey will be as smooth as possible.
At present we are prioritizing our existing volunteers for these opportunities where their previous role is no longer available, so we are very grateful for your patience.
Thank you again for supporting Jewish Care and our community in this challenging and difficult time.
Kind regards,
The Volunteers' Department
