Guardian ad Litem - The Guardian ad Litem program’s mission is to advocate in the community and in Dependency court proceedings for the best interest of children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected. A child is in great need of your voice.
Hours – Various. Average 10 hours per month
Age Restriction – Adults 21 and up
Location – Various places throughout Broward County (17th Circuit)

If you become involved with the Guardian ad Litem Program, you are in a position to directly impact a child’s life, helping to ensure the best possible outcome for their future. Please help us reach our goal to provide representation for each and every child who deserves a voice in the legal system by becoming a volunteer with the Guardian ad Litem Program. Guardian ad Litem volunteers are ordinary people doing extraordinary things! We welcome volunteers from all cultural, ethnic, professional and educational backgrounds. September - Friday 20, Saturday 21, Saturday 28 (8:00am – 5:00pm all three days)
October - Friday 4, Saturday 5, Saturday 12 (8:00am – 5:00pm all three days)
November – Monday 4, Tuesday 5, Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 (Evenings all days)
November – Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 (Evenings all days)
December - Friday 6, Saturday 7, Saturday 14 (8:00am – 5:00pm all three days)
