Join experienced SELT hike leader Bill McClure for a monthly series of walks throughout 2026.
In December, we will hike at Birch Ridge Community Forest. The hike will include some steep sections of trail and will likely cover 5+ miles of trail.

The approximate route will be determined in advance and shared with participants two to three days prior to the event. This event is limited to 14 participants.
Difficulty - 🥾🥾🥾 (out of 3)
GOATs Role: Show up 30 minutes prior to the start of the event at 8:30 AM and help with attendance, parking, donation collection, and during the event by hiking at the back of the group serving as the sweep. Make sure all attendees have the proper attire, carry a basic first aid kit with you, and help people back to their cars if needed. Return the attendance sheet to Derrick.
