A SELT Walk in the Woods - November 2026

Sunday, November 1

8:30 - 11:30 AM (event starts at 9:00 AM)

Howard Swain Memorial Forest, Deerfield

Join experienced SELT hike leader Bill McClure for a monthly series of walks throughout 2026.

In October, we will hike at Howard Swain Memorial Forest in Deerfield. The hike will cover all the trails at Howard Swain and should likely only last 2 hours. More details about the hike will be sent to those that register 2-3 days prior to the event.

More about Howard Swain Memorial Forest can be found at https://seltnh.org/trails/

The approximate route will be determined in advance and shared with participants two to three days prior to the event. This event is limited to 12 participants.

GOATs Role: Show up 30 minutes prior to the start of the event at 8:30 AM and help with attendance, parking, donation collection, and during the event by hiking at the back of the group serving as the sweep. Make sure all attendees have the proper attire, carry a basic first aid kit with you, and help people back to their cars if needed. Return the attendance sheet to Derrick.
