Field and Meadow Management
Wednesday, May 27
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (event runs 9:00 - 12:00)
The Mathey Center at Burley Farms, Epping
Join SELT and Kelly Boland, a State Biologist with NRCS, for a morning workshop to learn more about field and meadow management.
Kelly will share the benefits of different types of meadows/fields and how to best manage them for wildlife. You will also learn more about how to best integrate meadows and fields into your land.
The workshop will begin inside the Pratt Family Community Room at The Mathey Center for People and Nature followed by a walk around Burley Farms. Portions of the walk around Burley Farms may be off trail, so please dress accordingly.
GOATs will help with parking, registration, assist in setting the room, assist SELT staff and speaker, attend the program, help with the walk, and put the room back in its normal configuration.
