Hello SELTies!

We will be working on the main trail through the Ahl forest to repair ruts and low spots left after the harvest. This work will involve a heavy machine (that I will be operating) to move materials around, grading, and compacting work similar to what we did at Rand, Burley, and Birch Ridge last year. 

Volunteers will help to remove organic materials from the trail surface, rake and level the new materials, and run the walk behind compactor over the new materials. The work will vary slightly day to day, but that's going to be the bulk of it. I have the machine for the week, but it may not take the whole time. 

Where- Ahl Memorial Forest, Kingston NH

When- 6/8, 6/9, 6/11, 6/12 8am to 2pm

What- Trail repairs with gravel materials

Who- Everyone! No experience needed, I can show you anything you need to know in the field

What to bring- Food, water, layers, gloves and hearing protection if you have your own- we have plenty if you don't
