GOAT Program - SELT on the Road at Travel & Nature in Exeter - Town Forest History of New England and Key Hikes in Northern New England

SELT on the Road (Exeter) - Town Forest History

Thursday, November 19

6:00 - 8:00 PM (event starts at 6:30)

Travel & Nature Adventure Outfitters, 115 Water St, Exeter, NH

Join us as we hit the road for a fun and engaging conversation on Forest History in New England with author and speaker Tom Eid at Travel & Nature Adventure Outfitters in Exeter. Tom will also cover some Key Hikes in NH, ME, VT, and MA. He will have some of his books available for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to SELT. Light refreshments will be provided. Special thanks to the team at Travel & Nature for hosting us!

Tom Eid is a certified naturalist with the Audubon Society, a Coverts Cooperator with the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, a Land Steward for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, and a Wildlife Steward for the New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game.

He is an active volunteer for the New England Big Trees program, Nature Groupie, Bear-Paw Regional Greenways, and the Southeast Land Trust.

We are excited for this opportunity to travel to you, and we hope you'll join us!

GOATs will help set-up at Travel & Nature and then assist with guest registration and then during the event to help the presenter as needed. After the event concludes, GOATs will help to put the store back into its standard configuration (everything is on wheels).
