SELT Outreach Team - SELT at BIPOC Fest
SELT will be hosting a table at New England BIPOC Fest on Sunday, September 27, at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, and we're looking for volunteers to help us engage with attendees and share information about our work throughout the day.
The festival runs from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and takes place rain or shine.
Volunteer Opportunities with SELT:
Setup & Table Shift: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Help transport materials, set up the SELT tent and table, and get everything ready before the festival opens. Greet attendees, share information about SELT, and help answer questions at our table.
Table Shift 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Continue outreach and engagement with festival visitors through the afternoon.
Table Shift and Breakdown & Cleanup: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Continue outreach and engagement with festival visitors through the afternoon. Pack up materials, take down the tent and table, and help load supplies after the event.
New England BIPOC Fest is a vibrant celebration of culture, community, art, FREE FOOD, and entrepreneurship from across New England. This is a wonderful opportunity to support SELT's outreach efforts while connecting with our community!
Whether you can volunteer for one shift or stay for the whole event, we'd love to have you join us!
