‘Volunteering is time willingly given for the common good and without financial gain.’ - Volunteering Australia Wyndham City Youth Services are located in one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia. Opportunities are available for Youth Volunteers to assist Youth Services in the provision of quality youth programs, services, events targeted at the 12-25 cohort. Youth Services is committed to ensuring that all young people have the opportunity to participate and engage in the social, economic and cultural life of the City; and benefit from a range of educational, life skills, social, cultural, recreational activities and facilities. Youth Services works actively with young people, families, schools, universities and community organisations to ensure that young people are valued and contributing members of their communities. Youth Representative Volunteers will be empowered to provide a youth voice and support the planning and delivery of Youth Events, Programs, Forums and Workshops coordinated by Youth Development Officers. Youth Representative Volunteers will advocate for the voices of all young people to be heard on current issues young people are faced with as well as have an advisory role in advocating for local change for young people.
