Role Location:

Information Booth Halls 3 & 4

Role Summary:

To provide customers with information relating to the event.

Specific Tasks:

1. Provide customers with event information
2. Direct customers to another hall or book categories
3. Direct customers to bathrooms, cafes etc.
4. Complete tax receipts on request
5. Coordinate lost and found items
6. Direct customers and volunteers to first aid service
7. Familiarise yourself with customer FAQs such as the location of the nearest baby-changing facilities, how do I get to South Brisbane station, what time does the event close?

Desired Requirements:

It is preferable that volunteers in this role have had some level of customer service experience and love to meet people. During busy shifts (weekends), the ability to deal with a high volume of face to face enquiries is required.

Breaks:

Breaks are provided for the morning and afternoon shifts and lunch for volunteers rostered for the whole day.

Note:

Wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes.

It is a requirement for all volunteers and staff working at this event to wear enclosed shoes.
