Foster Assistant

These volunteers assist the foster department getting animals into foster homes. Duties will include, checking voicemail, checking email, computer work, setting up vet appointments, prepping food and other items needed for fosters picking up animals, and helping get animals when fosters come in. Requirements for this position include good phone skills, comfortable with computer data entry, good customer service, friendly attitude, and an understanding that euthanasia is possible if and animal does not respond to treatment.
Training: Dog and Cat handling Training, one on one training with Foster team.
