Early Years Department - Children's Services

Nancy Vibert Occasional Care Centre offers a smaller centre which focuses on providing a family environment where our older children nurture and teach the younger children through positive play interactions. We have adopted the primary care approach within our service as we understand the importance of children forming secure attachments and value developing strong relationships that encourage and support family involvement throughout our program. We are staffed by a team of professionals who are experienced in the care and education of children, who in consultation with families and the community will support all individuals’ sense of belonging to the centre; as we recognise the importance of the early years for the foundation of your child’s life. Our programming is designed to empower children to become competent, curious and motivated learners who are capable of independent decision making and problem solving. We are a flexible service that offers hourly and permanent positions through long day care, occasional care, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten. We are located within walking distance of the Shepparton Central Business District and public transport.
