Early Years Department - Children's Services

Frank R Pullar Children’s Centre is a long day care centre located on large spacious grounds in Mooroopna. We understand the importance of our roles as educators and endeavour to create a service that offers high quality customer service in a unique and inviting care environment, which reflects how much we value the importance of making our families feel a part of our service. Our centre is based on the foundations of providing an environment designed to support children’s development, challenge them as individuals and recognise other learning opportunities with incursions and excursions. We use the large outdoor space we have to offer the children opportunities to explore and build on their imagination. Each child’s learning is supported and extended by our Early Childhood Educators, working in conjunction with families and documented in line with the Early Year’s Learning Framework. We value the cultural backgrounds of children and their families and encourage family input in our service. We believe that strong relationships between families and educators are critical to enhance and promote the development of children’s social, emotional and physical needs to allow for best start in life. We meet each child’s nutritional needs by providing a healthy balanced menu which meets the requirements of Healthy Together Victoria, healthy eating program. Our service works in partnerships with the Echuca Road Kindergarten and also our own, Frank R Pullar Kindergarten. We offer before and after Kindergarten care for both programs and to support our families further we walk the children to and from there Kindergarten sessions as part of our Walking Bus Program.
