Volunteering at Wyndham City Council
‘Volunteering is time willingly given for the common good and without financial gain.’ - Volunteering Australia
We have a variety of volunteer programs - and they are reopening gradually after a pause for Covid19. Use the search panel to view current opportunities and find out more about each role. To apply, click the blue 'fill in an application' button, create your Better Impact User Account and complete the online form. Depending on your skills and experience, we may invite you to an informal interview. If successful, we do screening checks and provide you with training. Please note that you need an email address to create your Better Impact account. If you don't have an email address, or need help to apply, contact us on 1300 023 411 or email email@example.com.
We encourage you to return to this page to view new opportunities. There are also many organisations in our community that have volunteer opportunities, from small community groups to large not-for-profit organisations. Click Volunteering in the Wyndham Community for more information.

Acknowledgement of Country
Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Custodians of the lands on which Australia was founded. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which Wyndham is being built. We pay respect to Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
Child Safe Organisation
Wyndham City Council are committed to safeguarding children under the age of 18 while enabling their participation as valued members of our community. We recognise the importance of child safety in the provision of quality community services. All children and young people who attend services, programs, events, and community spaces have a right to feel safe, be safe, and be heard. We will maintain a child safe environment, and value a culture of safety within Council and its operations.
We strive to serve the best interests of the Wyndham community by providing quality services; managing growth; and supporting residents to lead healthy, safe, vibrant and productive lives, while protecting our local environment.
