YWCA Oklahoma City

Welcome to YWCA OKC! We are so excited to have you join the team!

Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and groups, YWCA Oklahoma City is able to address the needs of families in our community. Volunteers contribute unique talents, skills, and knowledge that assist YWCA OKC in achieving our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

To become a volunteer, you will need to:

  • Create an account and tell us a little about you and your experience.
  • Pay a non-refundable $35 fee to cover application processing and a background check.
  • Complete an interview
  • If selected, you will register and complete Crisis Services Training (CST).

CST is required by our certifying agency, the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Oklahoma.

The training consists of:

  • One 3-hour CST Foundations course
  • Two 3-hour Sexual Assault Services courses
  • Online video courses created by YWCA OKC experts and partners

All in-person sessions needed for CST will be held from 6-9 p.m. at 2460 NW 39th St.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Jennifer Armstrong by email at JArmstrong@ywcaokc.org or by phone 405-948-1770.

*Please note: Volunteer acceptance is dependent on alignment with victim-centered care and YWCA OKC’s mission and beliefs.
