Join Our Volunteer Program
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We’re excited to welcome you and work together to make a positive impact across NSW and the ACT.
As a volunteer, you’ll help strengthen community connections by offering support, companionship, and meaningful engagement. Opportunities are available across:
- Residential Aged Care: Social visits, recreational activities, event assistance.
- Retirement Living: Support social activities, help with outings, or volunteer at our War Museum or Narrabeen Op Shop.
- Veteran Services: Assist at Veteran & Family Hubs, support Claims Advisors, or help at Spur Horse Ranch.
- Events & Fundraising: Contribute to major commemorative events like Anzac Day, Remembrance Day, the Poppy Ball, and the Anzac Appeal.
Your Volunteer Journey
All volunteers complete an onboarding program to ensure you have the knowledge and support you need. You’ll also be guided through any required checks (such as Police, NDIS, or Aged Care checks), which must meet legislative requirements for your role.
You’ll be asked to sign the Volunteer Agreement to confirm your commitment to our Code of Conduct.
Once onboarded, you’ll receive ongoing support, a site orientation, and a Volunteer Handbook with helpful information and policies. All volunteers also have access to our confidential Employee Assistance Program.
As proud members of The Centre for Volunteering, we’re committed to best‑practice volunteer management and ensuring every volunteer feels valued and supported.
We’d love to have you join us—apply today and start making a difference in a way that truly matters.
