Volunteering at the City of Greater Bendigo |
Volunteers play an important role for The City of Greater Bendigo. The City's services are going through an exciting period. Volunteering presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the local community and be part of these exciting and rewarding times. As volunteers are at the forefront of our community services, they share their diverse knowledge of attractions, events, activities and services such as BARC, that make Greater Bendigo including Heathcote an exceptional place to visit. In addition, volunteers participate in regular activities, network with other volunteers and engage in training opportunities. To ensure that volunteers are suitable to participate in these activities. Volunteer Working With Children checks and a Police checks are required. Our volunteer handbook has a wealth of information that will inform and guide you through the wonderful world of volunteering at the City. The handbook information will form part of your induction with the City.
