Volunteering Opportunities

at North West Anglia NHS Trust!

Volunteering for your local hospital is a great way to make new friends, gain valuable experience and give back to your local community. At North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust we have volunteering opportunities available at Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford and Rutland Hospital. We are a friendly team  who are well appreciated throughout the hospitals that we serve.

Four volunteers stand smiling at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. One man and three ladies. They are all wearing their bright blue volunteer uniform and yellow name badges.

If you enjoy a challenge, have a kind and caring personality and a desire to help, then why not apply and see what good you can do?

A volunteer sits smiling in her wheelchair. On her lap is a tray of pink, cream and brown fairy cakes that she is about to deliver to staff on the ward. She is wearing her bright blue volunteer uniform. She has red hair tied back in a tidy ponytail.

We have plenty of varying roles available so whether you are looking to support patients on wards, show patients and visitors around, help in our Emergency Department or join our brand new Response team, there's sure to be something you'll enjoy.

Response Volunteers, a man and two ladies stand in the Atrium of Peterborough City Hospital. They are wearing bright blue volunteer uniforms and smiling. They are all wearing bumbags and a walkietalkie so they can be sent quickly to help around the hospital.
