We are not currently accepting applications. Our two application windows are the first two full weeks of April and the first two full weeks of September. Any applications submitted in the September application window will be moved to our wait list for next year’s program. Please email invasivespecies@mississauga.ca if you have any questions.
If you are interested in helping to control invasive species on your own property, you can remove invasive plants such as Garlic Mustard, Periwinkle, Wintercreeper, English Ivy, Burdock and Bindweed. You can visit the city webpage (https://www.mississauga.ca/services-and-programs/forestry-and-environment/invasive-species/) or the Invasive Species Centre's website (https://www.invasivespeciescentre.ca/) to learn more about what you can do to help control invasive species in Mississauga.

Skating
Do you enjoy ice skating?
Successful candidates, together with the staff team, will assist in the teaching & supervision of ice skating lessons for participants ages 4- 12 years old, while helping to maintain a safe, friendly and fun environment for all participants. You must be 14 + years old and be a confident forward and backward skater that is able to stop and do forward crossovers. Please note that volunteers are required to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet.
