Thank you for your interest in becoming a Mississauga Nature Steward!
We are not currently accepting applications. Our two application windows are the first two full weeks of April and the first two full weeks of September. Any applications submitted in the September application window will be moved to our wait list for next year’s program. Please email invasivespecies@mississauga.ca if you have any questions.
If you are interested in helping to control invasive species on your own property, you can remove invasive plants such as Garlic Mustard, Periwinkle, Wintercreeper, English Ivy, Burdock and Bindweed. You can visit the city webpage (https://www.mississauga.ca/services-and-programs/forestry-and-environment/invasive-species/) or the Invasive Species Centre's website (https://www.invasivespeciescentre.ca/) to learn more about what you can do to help control invasive species in Mississauga.
If you are interested in contributing to our One Million Trees program, you can register any native trees that you plant on your property using the form below: https://www.mississauga.ca/services-and-programs/forestry-and-environment/trees/one-million-trees/tree-planting-form/
