PCYC Maranoa
PCYC Maranoa is a vital point of engagement for young people who are at risk, disadvantaged or disengaged. Our club and programs provide opportunities for young people to have positive experiences, get involved in a wide range of activities, and learn from great mentors and community leaders. As one of the most recent clubs in Queensland, PCYC Maranoa continues to show incredible growth since its opening in September 2012.
The club offers state of the art gym & cardio equipment, which also includes Activ8 Fundamentals, and soon to be Activ8 Group Fitness, all whilst maintaining great recreational facilities. We have a small team at PCYC Maranoa, with volunteers from the Queensland Police Service and Maranoa community. Our aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle and to develop programs suited to the Maranoa region-giving people opportunities to grow, learn, and progress in a positive environment.
Our staff and volunteers run a busy schedule of affordable activities for all ages and abilities, including fitness programs, education and youth development programs, including boxing, karate, volleyball, youth drop in, badminton and basketball.
