Volunteer at Events or with a School or Corporate Group

Volunteer with Hobart City Mission to help people facing hardship and homelessness.

We believe that change starts with community. And that's why we offer volunteering opportunities that suit everyone.

Events
Volunteer at our events to help raise funds and awareness for our various programs. Events opportunities include stalls or fundraising drives out in the community, or at our Christmas Assistance Program.

School Groups
Volunteering at school creates a culture of community and caring. We offer your school group educational volunteering opportunities such as donation sorting, working in retail environments, or volunteering that benefits our various programs. 

Corporate Groups
Volunteering with a workplace helps to builds teams and connect with one another outside of the office, whilst giving back to the local community. Corporate volunteering opportunities include donation sorting, events, or at our Christmas Assistance Program.

City Mission Op Shops raise funds through the sale of second-hand goods which are donated by the local community. These funds help people who are facing hardship and homelessness through Hobart City Mission's programs. 

City Mission Op Shops Moonah is a hub of second-hand shopping with a huge Clothing store, plus a Furniture Warehouse. This site offers lots of volunteering opportunities that can be adapted to suit your preferences.
