Let’s work together for an Australia free of poverty!

The Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) is a social justice organisation, working alongside people experiencing disadvantage to address the fundamental causes of poverty in Australia.

We believe that no one should live in poverty, and that all people should be able to live a life of dignity, no matter their cultural background, circumstances or past experiences.

That’s why we offer an extensive range of programs and services that support people at every stage of life, including:

  • Early years support for children and parents
  • Youth transitioning from school and into work
  • Support for adults seeking economic security and stable employment
  • Quality care and social connection in later years as people’s needs change through time

You too can make change!

We’re always on the look out for volunteers to help us reach more people in the community who need our support.

If you’re interested in lending your skills, we’d love to hear from you! Check out the current opportunities listed below.
