Leduc & District Food Bank

Position Details: 

Morning into afternoon
 
Positions Available: 
  • Drivers
    • This position will work with a partner and share driving responsibilities
      Pickup donations within Leduc, Beaumont and Devon. Food bank Vans are used for pick ups
    • 4 positions available 
    • Mon., Wed., Fri. 7:15 am – early afternoon
    • Qualifications:
      • Minimum age 18 yrs. 
      • Criminal records check 
      • Drivers abstract 
      • Ability to lift up to 30- 50lbs 
  • Warehouse Volunteers 
    • This position consists of sorting food donations, assisting with our recycling program, and helping with other tasks as needed.
    • 4 positions available 
    • Weekday- Mornings
    • Qualifications: 
      • Minimum age 18 yrs. 
      • Drivers abstract 
      • Criminal records check (letter supplied for crime check) 
      • Ability to lift is helpful but not mandatory

Safe Refuge Youth Homes of Canada Inc.- Fundraising

Position Details: 

Fundraising and Work from home 

Positions Available: 

1. Fundraiser:

  • (2 - 4) people required 
  • 2 - 4 hours per week 

2. Social media Liaison:

  • (1) Available position
  • 30min - 1 hr. per week 

Qualifications:

Must have some computer skills, be dedicated to weekly look for sponsors through the program we use, we will train, will take any level of experience
Have a good a understanding of Social Media,( Facebook, Instagram) be willing to post something once to twice a week

Leduc Hub Association

 

 

Leduc Hub Association works works together with other community agencies to help lighten the burden of some of our most vulnerable citizens and connect them with the proper supports. We offer a free coffee bar, a coffee shop where you can sit in community, free showers and laundry, help with financial needs, as well as transportation. In the winter we become an overnight shelter as well.

MISSION – to engage in, promote and organize recreational, social, art, cultural and art-related educational activities to serve people of all ages and abilities.  To be a catalyst for educational development and community engagement.  To encourage an appreciation for original visual arts within the group and community.

  • Oversee a small group of volunteers, handle money and payments, interact with the pubic, lifting 10+ pounds, gift wrapping (or delegate to volunteers), collect donations.
