Leduc Soccer Board Positions

Leduc Soccer Association

Organization name: Leduc Soccer Association

Mission/Vision: Leduc Soccer Association is a volunteer-based sports organization offering inclusive, accessible and affordable soccer programs for all ages and abilities. We help nurture and develop a love for soccer for all participants in our community.

Location: Leduc

Term for all positions: 2 year term from June 2026 - 2028

Board Position: Vice President

  • The Vice President provides essential support to the President and oversees the internal operations of the association. This is a leadership role designed for a problem-solver who can lead meetings, manage special committees, and ensure league policies are followed across all divisions. This role also serves as the primary lead for internal investigations and the key liaison to the BGFC club.

Board Position: Treasurer

  • The Treasurer is the financial watchdog of the association. You will oversee all financial administration, ensuring the league stays within budget, compliant, transparent and on target. Your goal is to make sure every dollar paid by parents goes toward the kids' experience on the field.

Board Position: Equipment Director

  • The Equipment Director is responsible for the procurement, maintenance, distribution, and inventory management of all athletic equipment and uniforms for the association. This role ensures that every player and coach has the necessary, safe, and high-quality gear required for a successful season while staying within the allocated budget.

Leduc ArtWalk is a free, family-friendly festival hosted by the Leduc Arts Foundry that transforms downtown Leduc into a vibrant celebration of local and regional creativity!

A fun, welcoming community atmosphere with:

  • 80+ artist vendor booths
  • Live music throughout the day
  • Free family activity centre
  • Delicious food trucks and local restaurants

We’re looking for volunteers to help make this amazing event happen! Volunteers perks include t-shirts, food vouchers and the opportunity to be part of one of Leduc’s most exciting community festivals.

Come help us support the arts, meet great people, and help bring creativity to life in downtown Leduc!

Leduc Boat Club Instructors

Leduc Boat Club is recruiting Outreach Instructors for the 2026 season.

Location: Leduc Boat Club on Telford Lake

 

Position: Outreach Instructor

Time Commitment: Mainly during school hours, various days of week, few weekends. Shifts up to 3 hours.

Required Qualifications: Current First Aid Certificate, Safe Sport on-line Training (Free)

Sport specific training (not all required): Canoe Kids (Canoe and Kayak) or Paddle Canada Instructor status in canoe or SUP, Dragon Boat Canada Instructor, Learn to Row Instructor, Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card. Leduc Boat Club can provide training for the sports that may interest you.

Good Neighbours - Block Connector

What is a Block Connector?
Block Connectors are residents who are willing to chat with the closest 10-20 households on their block, connect at an activity once a year and receive training offered through our Family & Community Support Services team. 

Do you have the traits of a Block Connector?
Block Connectors are trustworthy, friendly, open, kind and attentive. They are interested in meeting new people, building connections and bringing people together. Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you!

What do Connectors do?
As a Block Connector, you would be asked to:

  • Have a chat with 10-20 households on your block
  • Help connect neighbours at an activity once per year
  • Attend connector orientation
  • Act as a contact person for your street, apartment or condo complex
