Ongoing	Bingo help	Support residents to play bingo and cleaning after	3	Mondays 1:30-3pm Thursdays - 5:30-7pm
Ongoing	Special Events	Support residents to attend and engage in events	3	Fridays - 1:30pm- 3:30pm. Various event times
Ongoing	Weekend Engagement	Portering to meals/Conversations/games/ reading	3	Saturday/Sunday – 8:30 am-12, 1:30-4:30pm
Ongoing	Rehab Support	Assistance with exercise programs	1 per day	Tuesday/ Thursday - 10am-12pm
Qualifications	Empathetic, Kind, Patient, interested, supportive, takes time, Salem Manor Volunteer orientation and training is provided. Loving spoonful training is provided for any nutrition support roles.

Ongoing	Safety Orientation	8:45AM to 10:00AM Volunteers must attend 1 safety orientation starting at 8:45AM and then shift times are flexible.
Ongoing	Agency-Partnered Work Experience Volunteer	Must be referred by a community agency or educational institution – Catholic Social Services etc.
Ongoing	Community Service Program:	Fine Deferral and Community Service.
Ongoing	Youth Volunteers	Youth aged 16 and above can work in the store without a parent present.
Qualifications Attributes & Experience required	Warehouse volunteer: must be able to lift 30lbs, intermediate level of English, over the age of 16, work with minimal supervision, ability to stand for long periods Donations Sorter: must be able to lift 15lbs, intermediate level of English, over the age of 16, work with minimal supervision, ability to stand for long periods Work experience: Must be referred by a community agency or educational institution – Catholic Social Services etc. Community Service Program: We do not accept individuals who are charged with assault, theft, fraud, or weapons charges. Youth Volunteer: over the age of 16, self-motivated and can work independently
