General Interests
Food Services
Food Services- Assist the food services team in keeping the athletes fed! Help distribute food to all of our participants, and run food stations. This includes lunches, banquet, BBQ, and snack and coffee stations.
General Volunteer - Help Where Needed
General Volunteer- Assist where needed throughout the event. Provide a helping hand throughout a variety of areas, where assistance is needed
Hydration Team
Help keep our athletes hydrated! Water stations will be set up throughout the event, we need your help to keep them stocked and clean.
Medical Services / First Aid
Medical Services/First Aid- Keep our athletes safe, by assisting within the medical/first aid stations. Help keep these stations stocked, and provide care when needed.
Sports & Activities (see section below to provide more info)
Sports and Activities- Help our athletes have the best experience possible, by assisting during various sporting events and activities such as;
- 8-Ball (Pool)

Positions Available(s): Volunteers needed for below positions. Volunteers are able to pick one or more positions they may be interested in. All volunteers must fill out volunteer application, complete a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check and complete orientation with Recreation and Volunteer Manager. All volunteers must be 18 years of age and older.
Position 1:

Schedule of Position:
- Mondays 1:30-3:00pm
- Saturdays 1:30-3:00pm

- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Feel comfortable working in front of larger groups of people

Position 2:
Name of Position: Crafters Corner
Schedule of Position:
- Mondays 10:00-11:00am
- Thursdays 10:00-11:00am
- Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm
- Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm

- Knowledge of crafting, creativity and patience

Name of Position: Drumming for seniors
Schedule of Position:
- Sundays 2:30-3:30pm
- Tuesdays 1:30-2:30pm

Position 1:
Name of Position: Snack table attendant
Schedule of Position:
- 12:00 p.m. β 3:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Ability to monitor and refresh snacks (fruit trays/cupcakes) and drinks (juice boxes/water bottles) as needed
- Enjoy working with the public in a fast-paced environment.
Position 2:
Name of Position: Activity table attendant
Schedule of Position: 12:00 β 3:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Assist with a variety of activity stations e.g. coloring, button making, photo booth.
- Enjoy working with the public in fast paced environments. Particularly children.
Position 3:
Name of Position: Greeter
Schedule of Position: 12:45 β 3:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Welcome attendees
- Answer directional questions e.g. Where is the bathroom? Where are the snacks?
- Familiarity with the Leduc civic center is a plus!
Position 4:
Name of Position: Social Media Assistant
Schedule of Position: 12:30 β 3:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Help us capture the exciting events and spread the word to those who canβt be there in person by live streaming.
- Familiarity with Instagram live or Facebook live are a plus
- Devices will be provided and familiarity with tablets and phones is a plus.
Position 5:
Name of Position: Traffic Flow
Schedule of Position: 12:30 β 3:15 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Mingle with attendees while guiding them to designated areas for snacks, activities etc.
- Prevent congestion in high traffic areas.
- Familiarity with the civic center is a plus.
Position 6:
Name of Position: Set Up
Schedule of Position: 11:30 a.m. β 12:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Ability to bend
- Lift up to 50 lbs. (unlikely but possible)
- Decorating
Position 7:
Name of Position: Take Down
Schedule of Position: 2:45 p.m. β 3:45 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Ability to bend
- Lift up to 50 lbs. (unlikely but possible)
- Light Garbage collection
- Other varying clean up duties.
