Position 1:

                Name of Position:  Event Set up  

                # of Volunteers required: 5

                Schedule of Position : Friday evening prior to event   7:00 PM

                Description : Loading trucks with teacups etc. for events and setting up tables and chairs  

               Qualifications: Able to lift tables and chairs and move boxes of teacups from trucks to event location

Position 2:

                Name of Position:  Teacup washers

                # of Volunteers required ( 4)

                Schedule of Position : Sept 16,2023  4:00 – 6:00 PM  

                Qualifications: Able to stand for an hr. or so, able wash dishes

                Qualifications: Able to lift tables and chairs and move boxes of teacups from trucks to home base

Leduc Art Club Committees

Board Position 1: 

  • Program Committee ( Lead)

Position  Details:

  • Find teachers for classes and workshops. Ensure the teacher fills out an updated contract.
    Work with the program committee on registration booklets, number of students registered,
    paid/not paid, rescheduling with teachers, notify teacher, students, LAC and LAF if there is a
    cancellation. Be a backup to ensure that needs are met for the first day of class for the teacher
    for the committee, rescheduling. Works with web administrators, social media and LAF to get
    classing advertised online. Working with the events committee. Attend board and committee
    meetings. Help with exhibitions and (cataloguing and editing images)

Term:

  • 1-2 yr

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently. Willing to take an initiative on pursuing new programming
    opportunities. Strong organizational skills. Outgoing personality. Ability to manage scheduling,
    contracts, instructors. Have an artistic background and understanding of different medias.
    Computer skills - spreadsheets

Board Position 2: 

  • Membership & Volunteer Committee ( Lead)

Position  Details:

  • Managing membership registrations and concerns. Liaise with the Programming committee.
    Recruit, organize, and schedule volunteers for ongoing open positions in the facility, and for
    special events. Attend committee meetings. Computer skills - spreadsheets

Term:

  • 1-2 yr

Qualifications:

  • Organizational skills and communications skills.

Board Position 3: 

  • Special Events ( Lead)

Position  Details:

  • Plan and execute in special events. Attend committee meetings. Work collaboratively within
    the group. Develop and execute events planning timelines. Identify and develop future
    opportunities for special events. Book and maintain communications with vendors/members.
    Collaborate with Social media, volunteer committee and programming committee.

  • Outgoing personality, willing to communicate with a wide variety of people. Organization skills

                Qualifications:

  • Oversee a small group of volunteers, handle money and payments, interact with the pubic, lifting 10+ pounds, gift wrapping (or delegate to volunteers), collect donations.

Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts

Welcome to the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts Volunteer Front-of-House Team!!!

You will be the front-line personnel providing customer service for the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts.  You will be trained in the policies and procedures for operating the Maclab Centre in a safe and friendly manner.

You are part of the team that will facilitate an enjoyable evening, a fabulous concert and create a home for the arts in Leduc.  Your volunteer services will contribute to the creation of a warm and friendly atmosphere at the Maclab Centre.
