Hume Volunteer Gateway: an online tool for finding volunteer opportunities

Extended Families works with a group of volunteers who believe that having joy in your life and being part of your community is important for everyone.

We support children and young people with a disability aged 0-30 in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula to build friendships and connect with their community.

Extended Families supports diverse families and is seeking the same in our volunteers. No matter who you are or where you're from, we would love to hear from you!

No specific qualifications are required. Our volunteers all bring different life experience and skill sets to the role.

Hello Volunteers,

We are looking for volunteers to commit to 12 months or longer to visit an older person living in their home to provide freindship and companionship.

Visits are approximately 1 hour on a day and time that suits your needs. They are conducted once a week in the hope we can help a person who is socially isolated in your community.
