SC DPH Lowcountry Medical Reserve Corps
Mission Statement

The mission of the Lowcountry Area Medical Reserve Corps is to provide trained healthcare teams to support local emergency responders in times of emergency and to assist with local community health needs and priorities in non-emergency events.
The Lowcountry Area Medical Reserve Corps is an affiliate of the National Medical Reserve Corps.
General Interests
Hazardous Weather Awareness
Volunteers provide educational information such as Hurricane Preparedness, Earthquake Preparedness, Natural Hazards, and specific environmental topics of need to the community. This could be at an Expo event where volunteers share information to the public.
Stop the Bleed
Qualified volunteers are trained to be an Instructor to teach the one hour Stop the Bleed class to the community.
