Front Desk / Reception
- Answers all telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Transfers all calls to the appropriate person taking messages as necessary.
- Greets all guests in a polite and courteous manner.
- Share information regarding programs and services offered at the Corps.
- Provide referral information as needed.
- Ensures that all printed material and information shared verbally regarding programs and services offered is correct and up to date.
- Assists in preparing and processing all mass mailings for the Corps.
- Opens/Closes the Corps office building in a timely manner.
- Assists clients and other visitors in finding proper locations in the building.
- Manage the Positive ID program.
- Supports the Corps Officer(s) and staff by performing clerical duties such as photocopying, assembling materials, and filing.
Administrative Volunteer
Community Meal Program
The Community Meal happens every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 5pm-5:40pm.
Volunteers are needed to help serve the meal.
Volunteers assist with serving the meal and with helping in the kitchen.
The volunteer shift is from 4pm-6pm Tues, Thurs, & Saturdays.
All volunteers will be required to take the Safe From Harm online training prior to volunteering.
Food Pantry
The food pantry volunteers are needed to help participants select items from the food pantry shelves. Volunteers will also need to write down the participants information along with stocking shelves, keeping the pantry clean and organized, packing food items and assisting participants.
Food Pantry is open TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS from 1PM-4PM and FRIDAYS 9AM-12PM
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs.
- All volunteers will be required to take the Safe From Harm online training prior to volunteering.
