British Red Cross Charity Shops
Mission Statement
The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies.
We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.
We have approximately 320 retail outlets in the UK and represent a significant fundraising arm of the British Red Cross. The shops generate a lot of much-needed income and are a great way to raise the profile of the charity on the high street. Close to 7 million people visit our shops every year, spending over £25 million in our shops.

Dan Eley Foundation, The (Godalming)
Mission Statement
The goal of The Dan Eley Foundation is to create a supportive environment where disadvantaged young children are given the opportunity to try a range of technical and vocational skills and to provide them with the professional training they need to obtain legitimate employment.
It is our aim to be recognized as a charity that helps young people to help themselves and ultimately achieve true independence.
General Interests
Global Sight Solutions (Woking)
Mission Statement
Global Sight Solutions is a registered charity, based in Guildford, which provides free eye care to the world’s poorest by establishing eye hospitals in India, Africa and elsewhere. It is estimated that worldwide there are some 50 million poor people in need of this service. Global Sight Solution’s business plan ensures that each facility becomes financially self-sufficient, thereby ensuring that cataract operations, and the like, can be provided on an ongoing basis. Each hospital is administered by members of Rotary International which ensures transparency and accountability of every transaction. Rotary International provides grants for such humanitarian work and thus enables a cataract operation to be carried out for a donation of just £5 here in the UK!
Global Sight Solutions is the trademarked name of The Guildford Rotary Eye Project

Human Appeal
Mission Statement
We are an international relief and development agency that asks the question, what makes us human? We think the answer is caring for others and changing their lives for the better. That’s what we’ve been doing for over 25 years.
We started in a small flat in Manchester, UK, and this year we have worked in 24 countries, providing humanitarian aid that saves and transforms lives. That’s what makes us Human Appeal.
Our generous donors, supporters and partners have helped us work towards our mission for the past 25+ years. They give us Human Appeal.
