The Hedgehogs of Farnham 

We are a local charity that have been established since 1959. We have a membership of around 50 active members, who work tirelessly to raise money for local people in need. From supporting specialist schools to assisting single parents, we aim to help those who require urgent assistance, especially in the current economic crisis.

WHAT IS IT FOR?
Helping people in Farnham and Area.


WHAT WILL I DO?
Join a team of approximately 50 people. Attend monthly meetings to help decide whom the
Hedgehogs can help with donations. Help erect and take down small marquees, sell calendars etc to
raise money. Help with the Farnham Carnival and other local events.

WHEN CAN I START?
You attend three monthly meetings and then decide if you wish to become a member. The members
also decide on your membership, but a wide range of skills and knowledge is welcome with almost
nobody turned away.

WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL I MAKE?
You will be helping people in need in Farnham and area to improve their lives.

TIME COMMITMENT
You give as much time as you can comfortably commit to. Approximately 4 to 6 hours a month but
can vary widely member to member.

Farnham Carnival - the largest event in Farnham

 

Farnham Carnival is the largest community event in Farnham and simply wouldn't be the same without the energy, spirit, and goodwill of our local community. It is a celebration created by all of us, for all of us, and every entry adds to the magic of the day.

Farnham Carnival takes place on the last Saturday of June each year, and we warmly encourage you to secure your place as soon as possible.

Whether you're planning to join the parade, book a stand in Gostrey Meadow, or volunteer with the Carnival Committee, we would be delighted to have you involved.
