Voluntary Action South West Surrey

We’re looking for Activities helpers to engage with our disabled residents, either doing craft, art, music or hobbies, or simply reading with, or to them. Maybe helping some with their spelling and basic maths skills. Our residents vary in their disabilities, some are stroke victims and have limited limb mobility, some are simply wheelchair bound. Some have learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorders. We’re also looking for volunteer drivers to help drive mini-buses on day trips out, both locally and sometimes further afield (if your time permits). We are also looking for volunteer gardeners to help keep our beautiful site in the Surrey Hills tidy if you’re the green fingered type.
