Girlguiding Guildford
Female adult leaders are wanted for all areas of Guildford.
Hogs Back District is for Stoughton, Park Barn, Rydes Hill, Normandy, Bellfields, Fairlands and Worplesdon areas.
Guildford East covers Ripley, Burpham & Merrow areas. Guildford West covers Onslow Village, town centre.
We need adult females to help with Rainbows (aged 4-7) Brownies (aged 7-10) and Guides (aged 10-14). Meetings are generally held in term time and on weekdays in the early evenings once a week.
We are looking for a long term commitment for these roles as there are trainings & DBS checks and you need to get settled into helping the girls with their activity programme which includes badges and skills from crafts to cooking to teamwork, games and challenges to role play & wellness and community action.
Of course with Girlguiding there are lots of outside skills and activities to get into, from bug hunts to games and camping & hikes & treasure hunts as well as outdoor fun days. Get in touch if you would like to have fun in a safe girl only environment as well as growing young women of the future.
Mission Statement
About Girl Guiding - Guildford Division
Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.
