Surrey Fire and Rescue Service
Be a volunteer, make a difference
At Surrey Fire and Rescue Service we are fortunate to have the support and commitment of volunteers.
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service serves diverse and ever-changing communities, with a wide range of risks such as residential, commercial and industrial premises, and large areas of common and heathland.
We work hard to serve our communities, with a focused drive on prevention and safety messaging. Our volunteers take on a wide range of important roles within SFRS to help stations and departments engage effectively with our residents. They help to deliver community safety initiatives, run events, distribute PPE, conduct welfare checks, and assist at exercises to name a few.
Fire Volunteers come from all backgrounds and walks of life, and offer their skills, time and knowledge to deliver a variety of important roles, and their dedication helps to provide invaluable support to the communities and our colleagues within Surrey.
We look forward to your application!
